The Environmental Division provides policy development support and advice on issues relating to environment, water and marine management activities and issues in Nunavut; monitors compliance on Inuit Owned Lands with NTI policies, procedures and regulations related to the environment, water and marine management; acts as liaison between NTI and RIA's, IPG's, government departments, and other organizations or corporations with related mandates or operations; promotes environmentally responsible and sustainable development on Inuit Owned Lands and elsewhere in Nunavut.
